The most authentic Indian food in London. 100% recommended. I went in a group of 4 and we ordered: Chana Bhatura, Amritsari special Kulcha Thali, Veg Momos, Veg Fried Rice with Manchurian, Butter Chicken with Chilli Garlic Naan and Lassi and chai. Each and every item was top notch in taste and perfectly cooked. At the end, they surprised us with their Amritsari Gur churi which was THE BEST and like cherry on the top. We call it Churma in Haryana n Delhi. Lots of Ghee and sugar but worth it if you are not worried about calories. Hands down, one of the best North Indian foods.

I visited them for the first time today, even though I live nearby! It was really nice and the Punjabi food was perfect, just like Amritsar! The staff was so welcoming and amicable. What an amazing hidden gem! The restaurant only seats about 20 people but the food is outstanding. Reminiscent of the rich indulgent food you find in North India. The Amritsari Kulcha was a real standout. As was the Old Delhi butter chicken, chicken lollipops, pani puri and chai. Everything a was amazing so you can’t go wrong!
My husband took me on a surprise trip today and I have been looking for a really authentic Punjabi cafe/restaurant. It exceeded my expectations. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic Punjabi food. We had samosa chaat for starters and then I had sarson da saag with makki di roti, it was exactly like my nani used to make it! The atmosphere is chilled, kind and considerate service, even some toys for our 3 year old to keep him occupied, fab Punjabi soundtrack and loved the map of punjab and regions on the wall. We will definitely be going back and I want to work my way through the extensive menu. Can’t recommend it enough, enjoy!

The food here is truly amazing and offers a fantastic mix of dishes from different cultures, making the menu exciting and unique. What really stood out for me were the staples. The Mixed Grill was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned beautifully—a real centerpiece. The different types of bread we ordered were fresh, soft, and the ideal accompaniment to soak up every last bit of flavour. And I can’t stop thinking about their incredible Momos! They were flavourful, juicy, and some of the best I've had. A special shout-out must go to the unique presentation of one dish: presented with a shot of mint water presented on a mini cart—it was a spectacular touch and made the whole meal an experience. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re looking for high-quality, flavourful food with a wonderful presentation twist, look no further than Apna Punjab! We will definitely be back.
